Yandex Armenia is looking for a General Manager to lead our Yandex Taxi operations in Armenia. This role involves managing all ride-hailing operations in the country, scaling the business, growing the market share, and taking full P&L ownership.

You will be responsible for
• Leading and expanding a cross‑functional team of operational, business development, and marketing managers
• Building and leading the local team
• Hunting and onboarding potential partners who can recruit and retain drivers
• Improving partners’ economics by analyzing their P&L and actual cash flow
• Educating and supporting partners to launch and scale driver acquisition channels
• Developing a strong competition intelligence network and tools to maintain a market advantage
• Ensuring partners are trained on driver retention tools
• Guaranteeing timely and automated payments from partners to drivers
• Building and nurturing demand partnerships in the market
• Acting as the key account manager for major partners and partnerships
You might be a fit if you have
• Strong leadership skills, and the ability to build a team from scratch and inspire people
• Business savvy with an understanding of unit economics, technology‑driven marketplaces, operational efficiency, marketing, and finance
• A data‑driven mindset with the ability to understand dependencies and correlations between metrics and identify contributing factors
• A solid understanding of market specifics
• Significant experience in business development or key account management
• Fluent spoken and written Armenian and Russian
It’s a plus if you
• Have experience in operations or the ride‑hailing industry
• Have worked in or with TMT companies or in strategy consulting
